The MCW40™ retention mechanism uses NVidia® 's four mounting holes standard, as specified in GeForce™ GPU's. The product can also be installed with other graphics processors by using permanent bonding agents, such as thermally conductive epoxies. Due to the wide variety of graphics card configurations in the industry, Swiftech does not guarantee compatibility. Users should check the dimension specifications provided below and compare them to their board layout in order to assure a successful assembly.

Housing:
CNC machined aluminum
Internal chamber capacity: 1 in3 (16 cc)
Type II, class 2 blue anodized anti-corrosion treatment
Built-in quick-connect fittings for 3/8" OD tubing (1/4" ID)

Base plate:
0.135" thick CNC machined copper plate
Inner face featuring variable size dimples to promote turbulent flow
The Outer face is lapped, and polished to an 8 Micro Surface finish to optimize heat transfer.

Assembly:
Overall dimensions: L2.5" x W2.0" x H0.73" (L63.5 x W51 x H18.5 mm)
Retention mechanism: 4 spring loaded 4-40 S/S socket screws, providing ~20 lb of pressure overall
Tubing compatibility: 3/8" OD (1/4" ID), tube inserts included for use with soft vinyl tubing.

MCW40™-T Thermo-electric assembly specifications Preamble:
The MCW40™-T uses a built-in thermo-electric module to refrigerate the processor below ambient temperature. This unit is intended for advanced users and requires appropriate insulation to prevent the formation of condensation in sensitive areas of the graphics card. Whereas Swiftech provides gaskets, and specific installation instructions for such assembly, utilization of this device is at the sole risk of the user.

Smooth Base plate:

Introduction:
The MCW40™ water-block is an advanced liquid cooling solution for graphics processors. It is designed to be used either in straight liquid cooling configuration, or in conjunction with a thermo-electric cooling element (Peltier module).
